Join the Conscious Revolution!
If any in America want change or a change in life the tools, techniques, ideas and all needed conditions are ready and waiting for use. The makers and distributers of these conditions are often waiting for people to use them. They are often free or at very low cost.
I’ve worked in factories, product processing centers, warehouse and distribution and a call center. In all of the places I have worked, probably more than twenty five, most of the people seemed to be detached from the work. The types of jobs were always low or no skills, isolating, painful physically and mentally and seemed to be part of a source for a collective stress and isolation. For this reason many of the problems that society experiences come from factories.
Doing labor the way that we do it in industrial societies and the way that we handle ourselves about labor is part of what makes the society do socially and economically sick and hazardous things in repetitive and problematic ways. Who is going to do the work and who is not is what our world turns itself upside down and inside out and backwards about in a wasteful way. Restated, through manipulation of people this world has become about who is going to do the work and who is not. By refusing to experiment with such basics as division of labor, ownership and education workers are accepting these conditions as just the way things are going to be.
We already have good job descriptions in this country. These days we are plagued with multi-traumas, mass-social fractures, and using semi-developed culture frameworks to deal with it all. Good isn’t good enough anymore. A new concept of employment is needed to help us face a new era of multiple complexities and challenges.
The factory type locations and the associated employment arrangements are where some of the ills of America are more prominent. This prominence is held within an isolation condition not only due to the division of labor. It is also due to the agreement between worker and employer that the worker will sell time for pay. This type of work formation releases the worker from full consciousness about doing the work though workmanship is not necessarily lost at first glance.
What is clearly lost is the natural training that comes from figuring out the work, the process, the difficulty, and all the other considerations about work. Not only the many discoveries in what it takes to get the work done is lost but the improvements over time that the worker would otherwise experience with new or inventive ways of doing the work is washed of meaning and worth. Workers in this arrangement may never experience the progress and self-discovery that work would bring, or add reasons and options for and about living.
By this agreement of selling time in isolating ways the worker has lost an entire relationship to society and community without even knowing it until much older than when he started. The “experience” that employers look for when hiring employees has little resemblance of such relationships and is not part of my discussion choices.
Considering the amount of time spent with and about labor and that so much of our world is built around this basic activity it is concerning that so few people want to spend any time at all talking about it to understand how it influences the world at large. Yet it is absolutely essential that labor workers experiment with division of labor and their own contentment about work.
As long as the average worker continues to think that labor is “boring” or “it just has to be done so I will do what I have to and get a pay check and go home” and refuses to acknowledge the importance of paying attention to every influence that it generates, the hierarchy will be required to use world dominance with elitism climbing to the top. This is the misconception of it all. It is a little mole to climb over and discover that doing labor in a right way can be uplifting, rewarding and can be part of a path to a more complete society relationship than what we have experienced in our recent past.
The boredom that people experience in factories is not simply a condition of things the worker is not interested in, it has nothing at all to do with the things people find interesting. This condition of boredom is with our particular way of division of labor devised by Frederick Winslow Taylor (1) in the last decades of the nineteenth century and a concept of manipulation of the masses, a disastrous control method that came out of the work of Edward Bernays (2) in the 1920s.
Society cannot ignore methods in catastrophe and expect change for the good. In such case we will not get what we want. The virtues of the past must be distinguished from the mistaken beliefs and corrections made that acknowledge the conditions and causes. F. Taylor made significant, detailed and valuable changes that potentially could benefit everybody though his contributions seem to have been ignored for unknown reasons. E. Bernays had some mistaken beliefs that partly seem to come from looking at groups of people without looking at individual needs and requirements first. Individual relations need to be first considerations because it is more basic and simple to consider and therefore easier to interpret. It is simply easier to respond to consequences and make decisions if the economic theory is based on the individual choice maker.
Collectively humans have allowed management to guide civilizations, partly for the sake of avoiding labor, into doing labor in particular ways, even when these ways create unnecessary problems and mental and emotional stress and we still do it today. After thousands of years of wars, lies, corruptions and waste we have the potential to change these conditions but we haven’t focused on it yet though some people continue to try. It is a complex challenge because we do not challenge a collective issue related to labor. Workers are still waiting for management to show us what to do and how to do it.
The case I try to make here is why to “bring forth what is within you” as noted later in the text and why it is easier to do than living any other lifestyle choice that can be made today. It is the experiment of the worker by the worker of his own contentment and can involve a collective accumulation of creativity.
Over time this concept of collective accumulation of creativity is very powerful and can be compared to interest rates accumulating to create wealth. Both of these accumulation concepts involve an excess in wealth to begin with, the first being an excess of creativity potential and the second of monetary possession. Both involve some personal management skill although this skill can easily be acquired with a little instruction if needed and a little practice. Both are exciting and uplifting to anyone using them who understand the accumulation concept. Both require the interdependence of trustworthy people and systems.
Therefore in the pursuit of peace and happiness for everybody I suggest a loss has taken place in our intent for pursuit of daily life since the industrial revolution that can be resolved. This loss needs to be dealt with if life is to be a good experience. Workers can add something to the normal intent of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. I added consciousness as one of my pursuits. So I think of the statement as; “Life, Liberty, the pursuit of happiness and consciousness”.
Either the life and employment style I describe is easier for you to live or we can’t live it. The concept is only valid if it makes your life better in every way, easier to understand and more pleasant, a more accurate reward for what you do and who you are. Either it is more of what you perceive the world could and should be or it is invalid.
Too many people put themselves in places where they don’t want to be for reasons they don’t even understand and want change. It is no surprise that our physical relationships to our world are distorted. If we would put our relationships in order we would stop contributing to the many distortions. Though Bill Maher was speaking of prescribed drugs when he said “We won’t stop being sick until we stop making ourselves sick” the statement still works.
THE NEW MISERY STATEMENT: “The more things change, the more things stay the same.” : Is no longer correct. The more things change the more we stay the same is more correct since the industrial revolution, the printing press and common folk with the capability to read. Each of these changes are fundamental to living in society and self-actualization provided they are used in more self-controlled ways. Citizens have all the tools, techniques and abilities needed to do anything we want to do and we don’t have to have any misery statement at all.
Computers and the internet make dealing with change much easier though opportunity in how individuals can deal with change has been in America for decades. Interference comes from the belief that the “how to” arrangements have to come from hierarchy. Some of this condition may be a manipulation of hierarchy but still, after thousands of years in variations of partial slavery, we excessively look to leadership for nearly all of our answers. With incredible access and capability to find and create more access and connection to the world, we still pass up the majority of versatility and opportunity, by choice, to acquire information about better control of our lives. “Structures of which we are unaware hold us prisoner.” (3)
The control of opportunity that we neglect is collective. Mankind has the opportunity, capability and likeliness of success to overcome a long held condition of obedience and control from excessive hierarchy. For the first time in history we have a common capacity, I mean to say the things we have in common that we can think and work together on for common benefit, of cooperation and people working together for common purposes and methods. Since we are not much in use of this capacity we are being threatened yet again, like other civilizations, of losing this common capacity at great despair.
More people from all walks of life would likely come together in cooperation if active people, meaning people active in the pursuit of changing economic, social or political conduct, use creativity instead of complaints to achieve their goals. We already use concepts involving collective, cooperation, compromising and interdependence. It is the proportions of these things that, if we pursue it, could, would and must change. Making these changes would make life easier and better for everybody who involves themselves.
This presentation material is meant to be part of a path to self-conversion from obedience to men to obedience to nature or something not greedy and it depends on the reader improving the standard relationship to learning. The standard relationship commonly assumed to be right ways of thinking and acting assume that schools can provide a best path for life and employment. For the sake of employment workers collectively follow the path set by schools and government to live the norms deemed acceptable by common random assumptions. A better concept for employment is needed.
Conversion and writing is the tool works for creating such concepts. Making this conversion for a better life is quite simple once the basic concepts and reasons why it would work are understood.
In school we learned a lot of misinformation that create a condition about learning that people can live with throughout life. “learning”… “tend to immediately evoke images of sitting passively in schoolrooms, listening, following directions, and pleasing the teacher by avoiding making mistakes.” (3) “Real learning gets to the heart of what it means to be human.” “There is within each of us a deep hunger for this type of learning.” (3) One habit that continually gets in the way of our social development is “’defensive routines’ (3) habitual ways of interacting that protect us and others from threat or embarrassment, but which also prevent us from learning” (3) and is something forced upon us in school by being separated by age groups and obedience training.
We are taught by schools to use our training instead of and in place of our intelligence. As long as we cooperate with this plan we are going to get quick fixes instead of lasting results and residence in a society that we don’t really want to be in. What we are faced with right now is to use our individual and collective intelligence to recreate the construction and arrangements that society uses for moving product or be slaves. This is the second half of protecting and embracing freedom though it is neglected.
The Global Elitists manipulate every kind of subject for control while the citizenry campaigns use only politics to protect liberty. When we fix everything in politics, as if we could, all accomplishments will be re-manipulated again from all directions. The people of America are not so well focused that each citizen understands the difference between surface and fundamental change. Fundamental change needs to be considered in economics, education, politics, our own thinking and habits about knowledge, nearly all daily activity and our relationships to each other and the world to make real improvement.
“Envy is a widespread frailty. It is certain that many intellectuals envy the higher income of prosperous businessmen and that these feelings drive them toward socialism. They believe that the authorities of a socialist commonwealth would pay them higher salaries than those that they earn under capitalism.” (4)
Without comprehensiveness of attitude we stand with a much smaller chance of retaining the good qualities in society. We were given conditional freedom because people at the time of writing The Constitution were comprehensive for their time; we have not been comprehensive for ours. The choice we must make now is an easy choice though it involves complex thinking and therefor seems to be hard.
We are often fighting a never ending battle because we fight the guns instead of the battle. For example, in America, we are all doing pretty much the same things, within the context of a variety of topics and activities, in pretty much the same ways. Yet people want “change”, indicating a desire for improvement. Instead of changing their own self first people seem to want “someone” to make the changes.
The processes about work that we are weak in, making life difficult for everybody on Earth, involve thinking comprehensively about how to fit the work into daily life and society for stability. The thinking we must do is about work because we spend so much of our time at and for work and it is the thinking that needs improvement. Of course if it doesn’t make life easier for you it is a waste of time to talk about it.
‘We don’t need reformation we need transformation’ of our images, interpretations, locations and relationships to what we are capable of and what we want to do with our time.’ “We don’t need evolution we need revolution in education, this has to be transformed into something else”. (5)
Any or all of the manmade locations we go to may be manipulated by hierarchy but such places certainly hold a lot of symbols and imagery that trigger trip points within us everywhere we go. We carry developed assumptions accumulated over generations within us when we go to these places and are ready to obey the unspoken statements of social requirement before we even get there. “We live entangled in webs of endless deceit, that we live in a highly indoctrinated society where elementary truths are easily buried.” (6)
Everyday opportunity is a condition worth looking at. Everyday opportunity is a constantly existing condition in abundance within society not fluctuating over time except to the extent that people, government or poor leadership interferes with the rights of people to solve their own problems and master their own personal progress.
We seem to have fully accessible potential to improve everything about our experience in this world. Yet the advancement of corruption has gone beyond the difficulty of truth and challenge and has come to threaten the very existence of freedom because we wait instead of work for things to get better. Some of Liberty and campaign efforts need to split into two parts. 1. Our rights (Politics) and 2. Our thingking (a vast array of topics). The first is already existing and is accessed through group meetings, hierarchy, leadership and people who self-govern.
The second can be accessed in many variety of ways and concepts but generally apply to some form of physical reality or activity such as group writing on selective topics or active listening to good instruction. These are the conditions and activities that involve what we experience in life and our source for learning about ourselves.
The physical realities or activities chosen to be the ones that are embraced for learning and prospering are part of what determines the results of our efforts at work. Choosing the most basic concepts and activities to be involved in are probably the most productive for gathering and retaining knowledge of what is important. This is why I choose “moving product” as a focus of intent instead of art, economics, math, politics, human rights, citizen responsibilities or fear.
Moving product is quite simply getting something to be sold in front of you, improving or processing it in some way, and moving it to a place for more processing or to be shipped. It is normal factory or processing center activity. The only topic I can think of to have more priority than moving product is the feelings of people, family, friends and people in the community. Moving product is a most or the most basic activity of society and should be the focus of workers interested in politics, economics, society improvements or social advancement. If we get this one activity under control within our own minds and intents all others can fall into place.
The only reason nations never gain full control of society is because citizens never have a fully grounded footing on the things that are most basic. We are easily thrown off when change occurs, such as the industrial revolution; war etc. because we are about love, family, socializing, leisure, etc. All those things are important and we all know it but they are not basic mechanics of society they are compliments to it. Basics to society are food, water, shelter. Complex society also has to include learning as a basic to maintain these basics. A more complex topic than the basic three that it is, the basics of it must be identified. One basic to learning is what to learn about. It is of course the basics, food, water and shelter. I know if I am moving product I can get paid somehow and as long as people are doing this activity things can generally work if the basics are held together well.
The statements made above indicate human frailty that we are conditioned by which cause us to be malleable and tricked by nature and other men.

Everybody has a little corrupt blood within habits, intent, and overall personal conduct. It is taught and given to us; we collect it from news and society and needs to be filtered either by grinding self-evaluation or by refitting environments and concepts to the times we live. The way the world works is not at all the only way it can work unless we continue to insist on the blind path that comes from the assumption that we have our own thoughts and are in control of them. People have an incredible chance to make work into something more than what we have experienced it to be but it requires that we purge ourselves of misinformation, bad habits and wondering intent.
As you read through this text, notice the suggested videos after footnotes (the numbered words in italics at the end of chapters) and learn how to take on challenges of the future without battles and conflict by watching selective videos and further discussion. Seek out deliberately and consciously to know that you are doing all you can to get and give the most you can out of our near future and you will free yourself of a hovering confusion and doubt about your own activities that you often forget about or never knew was there.

Collective consciousness does not necessarily mean all people collectively contributing only to and all controlled by the whole like the Borg in the Star Trek Movie. It can also mean small groups learning, preparing, self-training and self-educating to be able to think together for benefits and intent common to each within the group. It can mean one or two or many individual consistencies or like mindedness throughout the whole. It can mean desired collectiveness rather than forced.
I think common people are beginning to wonder about and want to embrace a new variety of complex choices that make up society and cooperation. I wonder if this could mean new ways of owning business, managing money, relationships to Government, relating to opportunity and doing work. I think collective conscience would follow collective consciousness so I don’t worry about the individual conscience.
In this sense there would be plenty of individuality because not all groups work in exactly the same arrangements or for the same purpose. We have different desires and obligations pulling us in a variety of directions. I think collective can mean a lot more than what history books and government show us. Like other topics, there is a good variety and a bad one. The good collective is cooperation and chosen, the bad one is forced.
Each time the world changes the people stay the same. While plenty of people want change, I haven’t met one who seems willing to even consider changing one’s own conduct. It may be that many are fully ready although how to do it is not so well known. Yet in fact, the very same conduct I see around me, in the news, communities and workplaces, encourages elitism. The political field gives input to the common people and in the same way the common people need to give input to the political field about the things that we really know. The things we really know or could know are the things we spend our time with. Our lives are so busy and partial that we can’t focus on anything productively. We can never expect productive change if we refuse to change our own selves and know what those changes must involve.
What I see from the common people is support for someone else to do better but only in the way that we have been shown by others. A transition into creating our own way, description and evidence from lifelong learning and experimentation is strongly suggested by learned people who know what they are talking about. We are still looking to leadership for all the answers. Apparently people are not hearing the message of reason. Therefor “someone else doing better” is not yet what is needed. What is needed is for us to get the message.
A new formation of subject matter, it seems may need to be created in order to generate better cohesiveness in the protection of freedom. Avoiding labor is a basic part of humanity, action, moving product and government. My perception is that most individuals and probably planning in many projects consider avoiding wasted labor although avoiding it is a non-subject in the minds of most people and therefore is neglected in interpretation of our world and conduct. Therefore we may need to create this subject as a legitimate factor of analogy, clumsy though it may seem, to understand our world better.
We must know any important differences between avoiding labor, avoiding wasted labor and basic labor needs and how these considerations influence our lives and productivity. If such inquiries would make life better it is because adjustments are needed.

More comprehensive freedom comes from the inside out rather than from the top down. When freedom is designed from the top down it gradually degrades by stagnancy and government intervention into slavery. Centralized planning, whether it comes from government or private enterprise, arrests the creativity of human capacity and therefor the progress from creativity that comes from the natural tendency of each individual worker to make life or work better. Consequently life is harder and more costly for everybody.
Bringing forth our desires and putting them into reality must involve deliberate activity. It is about making what you want becoming what you use or turning your challenges into advantages and such. I think creativity is often thought of as a choice or a talent. In fact if one can make the choice it is more often a process and may involve many choices, steps and compromises. “Creativity is a very practical process.” (9)
Actually anyone can train themselves to be creative, comprehensive or possess the kinds of qualities that are needed but whatever we want to be able to do or be is often easier and more productive in groups, and for this reason the topic in my discussion includes activity in groups. The choices in what activity to perform to bring a desired result are what need to be discussed at any moment but if too few people have this discussion comprehensively it is harder to keep focus.

We depend for our national, our local, our cultural vitality on a whole range of talents and we should value them equally. In the arts, science and technology what we might think of as practical professions, the problem I think is that in education we are zeroed in on a very narrow band of intellectual ability and we sacrifice everything else in its interest. It’s a great mistake.” “How would I find my element?” “I have a four step plan so to speak in part in the book (The Element). The first is a sequence of I get it, I want it, I love it and where is it?” (9)
The potential I refer to is in the fact that workers generally have far more creative capability than they use. Creativity, like any other skill, is a compounding assembly of memorized activities and techniques or processes. A compounding assembly is accumulation of, in this use, thoughts, intents, habits, reaction and feeling combinations and all the character traits that make up how a person handles himself about performing well known or unfamiliar tasks. Creativity builds into a mental machine. Like any other machine it does the work of man so man doesn’t have to do it himself.
My theory is that if we put concepts that Sir Ken Robinson and others describe into action life would be easier instead of harder. Generally you know that whenever you try to do something that is new, and challenging if it has some risk, life is harder; but the times we live in are in total reverse of the more common condition. What would make life easier for us right now is to do activities that promote better consciousness of ourselves and each other’s work and capability both individually and collectively. “creativity is not some peripheral to our economy, its fundamental to it.” (9)(10)
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.” (11) This quote is not just about singing songs in church and bringing forth the praise that is for or to God. It is also about work, creativity and the result we produce with our effort and time and we may find out the hard way that it is utterly true and abundantly clear and always has been. If we would just look we would find so much! Looking in our case is a matter of learning, experimenting and collaborating in groups.

Group Study / Group discovery
Group-discovery involves experimenting with the division of labor in a small group such as 8 to 12 people. Such a group would need to be flexible in pay and cooperation with each other under self-training conditions. Introduction is about 3 months. Topics discussed are: division of labor, America, self-training, economics, cooperation of employment, work, pay flexibility, making money, money, mini-entrepreneurship, research, self-guided group education, work-path concepts, three dependencies, learning to process, working with ideas, problem solving, group-writing, discussion and dialogue, self-management, and recognizing progress and opportunity. “History is driven by increasing division of labor.” (13)
Every change I want to make in my life is change that comes from the potential of groups because the changes I believe we need are collective. I think individually we are doing well, the physical construction of our world and society is grand and worth keeping provided we learn how to behave ourselves. The new changes need to possess the quality of openness about collective relationships.
We already live the activities that are needed for better living but we haven’t created the arrangements dependent on them ourselves. Once the idea is understood jumping in is a cinch. There is currently no competition from the kind of arrangements that would come from group employments because individual people are so unexposed to their own abilities. Once people experience the accumulated use of human potential regularly all the techniques of current lifestyles will come into focus and people would be more likely to spend their time with their own virtues instead of their vises.
Some examples of group activities come from the project list.
Project list: Project (one). Verify common beliefs about human capabilities of working relationships in a group writing arrangement. People seem to have no connection to the capabilities that are consistent to everybody. Everybody has the ability to learn, interpret what the conditions are around him or herself and contemplate improvements, work with others to achieve common goals etc. I want to verify that the conditions perceived by the populace is either correct or can easily be improved with benefits beyond measure. There is no in between. One method to use for making some reference to these common capabilities is for people to participate in a community writing activity.
Participants each start by writing about what they believe are the most basic traits and requirements of society. After a few minutes of writing the group looks for consistency in the answers between other participants. If consistencies are found it is an example of common ground to build working a relationship on. If not then try another similar subject to start the process again.
I think all “civilized” societies currently have plenty of trickle-down effects (not just monetary) but not much trickle up control. Trickle down and trickle up must come together if it is to ever become beneficial to everybody. For this benefit occur trickle up needs to be created. Some control or trickle up effect may exist but it isn’t well organized. If it is to be organized it has to be created from the bottom up not from leadership. Leadership has many times attempted to provide or deliver this control.
The writing project is meant to create the conditions that foster this trickle up affect. Like many other complex activities, the activities involving this type of work gets very simple once a participant gets use to the idea of what trickle up is and how easy it is to do as it becomes a part of life.
One way to find common interests is to stick to basic subjects in conversation such as consciousness, writing or moving product. Everyone has some consciousness and may discover the desire to gain better health with it if it is agreed that we may have something wrong with how we use it collectively.
Everyone can benefit from writing if they can stay focused on what is important and develop written material progressively. Some of the many benefits are to use it as a tool to focus, describe ideas and intentions in a different way than verbalizing and providing information about your efforts when you can’t show up in person.
While moving product may seem like something people won’t want to spend time with everybody has needs from the activities that others perform. Reference materials can be your favorite. I believe I can work with any dedicated worker and use any dedicated material dedicated to the benefit of people.
Project (Two) Spend a couple hours per week for several weeks to figure out where our interests meet. I think one of the reasons people find it so hard to meet productively on a regular basis is that finding things in common is difficult because of school type training and excessive reliance on leadership. Therefore sticking to basic needs and activities as the subjects to discuss would be a focus after people have introduced their personal interests. Study material can include your favorite whatever it is.
Project (three) Our Own Cognitive Biases and Critical Thinking Literacy
(Self-but-not by-your-self-Training in Perception and Thinking and protecting yourself from the “Dark Arts” (14) ) Selective subjects to be trained in can make the difference between a successful first flight experiment and a broken and crashed vehicle. My favorite study materials include 101 Creative Problem Solving Techniques or The Thinker’s Toolkit, How Successful People Think, The Fifth Discipline and online videos.
Project (four) Start using a Collectively Creative Accumulation technique. This is my interpretation of learning and benefiting from group activity, studies and conversation that accumulates in value as skills, resources and connection to society are developed over time. Activities include asking questions to the public residence, business owners, workers etc., problem solving of general society type problems or our own relationships to them, and scheduling or planning what progress we expect to make with our efforts in the future. Study materials include The Fifth Discipline Field book, and the materials suggested in Project (three).
Project (five) Discuss starting a community writing activity. The objective of this writing activity is to learn to clarify what is most important in our current reality. It is on an assumption that we need to look at ourselves and our world differently than we have in the past. Writing regularly helps to verbalize what is on our minds, focus on what is most important, and report on a chosen topic or conclusion more confidently and completely.
Project (six) Duplicate everything we are taught to do on an individual basis on a collective basis. This refers to all kinds of things in society because we are taught to do everything, it seems, on an individual basis to a terrible excess. It is a great expense to everybody because it is part of the “me, me, me or I, I, I, condition that so many people fall into. The duplicating activity can include getting educated, being or finding employment, socializing and probably other major categories that may not come clear until someone gives it a try. Each of the categories would provide methods and results entirely different than current results and therefore more versatility to existing conditions.
Project (seven) Interview workers doing work that is common to the group. I am not interested in interviewing only the successful or to be more like them. By interviewing other people in my own field I want to learn more of what the worker perceptions are about the work and if it differs with options associated with the industry. Also of interest is the public perception about the work and the industry and how worker and public perception influences the industry.
This kind of group study relieves stress of everyday living, informs us of what is going on in the world and looks at purpose. It helps people develop a sense of direction, gives practice and knowledge for capturing and acting upon opportunity, raises a level of awareness about change and self-management for change, and many other benefits.
This kind of study is or can be a great wash of many ills. The great wash is a washing of the mind, habits, activities and relationships of participants. Many ills – include alcoholism, common addictions and crutches, aggressiveness toward people, abusive behaviors, depression etc. But for this cleanliness of mind to potentially exist workers need to put them-selves in the wash deliberately.
Creating a new kind of employment is or can be jumping in the wash and is something anyone can do within a group of like-minded people provided they try to be successful and use the suggested work path(found in the how to text). Just about anyone who works for a living possesses these success traits although often terribly un-mastered and undisciplined because of the “many ills”.
Division of labor closely resembles a highly controllable beast of burden of which the American society hasn’t distinguished the head from the tail, its right from its left or the muscle from the meat. Distinguishing character traits of interdependent mechanisms can only be traced when inhabitants (workers) of it are independent of management and hierarchy.
Workers have a wonderful chance to interpret its many virtues and versatilities provided all the devises I have written about are workable, achievement and benefit is within reach and we can compromise with the requirements of how this type and method of work must be done.

The condition of consiousness
What makes consciousness and creativity good, active and more accessible? A long time ago before money, distant hierarchy, detached and abusive hierarchy, division of labor and manipulation of religion, humans may have had a different relationship to labor. At some point, when division of labor was still new to people, though it was gradual, the process of development created work that was often boring, painful or humiliating. People can be abused or humiliated under division of labor conditions. It wasn’t work that people were avoiding it was certain kinds of work and under certain conditions. But still who would have ever wanted to admit that they wanted to avoid work and under what conditions?
At first it is not only plausible but likely that the problem would have been discussed clearly, although cause analogy is complex. But over time, several generations at least, if the problem did not get solved and as a struggle with it occurred repeatedly the conditions for manipulation of people by people became quite legitimate to reality and need.
Therefore a likely suspect of change from egalitarian to managed society is division of labor. With the evolution of this mastery over the requirement of labor we likely would have experienced more tedious work in some arrangements and cases that needed to be done and therefore an increase in labor avoidance or problems with who is to do the labor. Equally important is the fact that the labor work must have been relatively unmanaged, sometimes dysfunctional and often heartbreakingly wasteful and even frustrating.
There was a time in our distant past before external hierarchy (15) existed. During this time labor was done mostly by necessity of basic needs. It would seem that society had not only a different relationship to labor but that since then labor had developed a tainted image. As division of labor evolved, so did a tedious experience with it and eventually labor avoidance, and consequently ignorance of it, must have become a problem. If so hierarchy would have had to take more control over people and the division of responsibilities.
If this thinking is correct or even vaguely correct leadership would have had to take more control of labor and managing labor (16) turned into people managing people (17). Labor is only one subject among many that embodies a society but it is basic enough to generate difficulties if anything about it is ignored.
A separation of attitudes and the possibility of a more distant management (18) occurred, and still do, when common workers come to assume that certain activities of the work are “not what I am good at”. Detached management (19) is a predictable outgrowth of distant management when numerous assumptions are made and used long term replacing old blood with new blood (20).
Management also makes assumptions about certain activities and of what are probably many might include thoughts such as “I don’t want to do”. If it is true that some managers don’t want to do certain kinds of work and workers assume they can’t do certain kinds of work we have a mirror condition creating a dual conditioning (21). From this point on until today a friction exists between the work and the management of the work.
This management of people mentality, a condition, was still in its dark ages (22) when people came to America from Europe. The industrial revolution made the possibility of shining light on this condition a reality and the information age and the internet is the light and current reality to finally overcoming this ancient condition, what seems to be a collective sickness (23) over who is going to do the work and who is not.
If the American people ever give our due attention to avoidance of labor half of our problems would just go away. Avoidance of labor is not negligent, irresponsible, abusive or slacking off although it can be all of these things if done for the wrong reasons or in the wrong ways.
This real chance to improve the experience of all that we know is fleeting and brief because disruptive behavior, from people lashing out for all kinds of reasons in hundreds or thousands of kinds of ways over the pains that this under developed and twisted relationship to labor causes is neglected and because it has become obvious that elitists are unnecessary and even harmful. Therefore an urgent and primary question for current reality becomes not what makes consciousness good but what makes it bad or just not as complete as desired?
With our lifestyle in constant need of repair or upkeep, by design, we never have time to reflect other options as they come obviously needed and available. For example; what would economic conditions be like if people could invest in people, systems, ideas and concepts instead of markets, a few people, a few ideas and manipulated concepts? What would conditions be like if workers could invest in such arrangements that grow from their own participation as they emerge, change and challenge the minds of workers? For that matter; what would conditions be like if workers used more of their own intelligence and creativity on a regular basis?
The Zeitgeist Movement has suggested a car pool of some sort where citizens wouldn’t necessarily own a car. The Perma-culturists have created an “edible forest” and other interesting gardening concepts. Even if you don’t want to do any farming or gardening, if you’re only other choice is to do such work or buy from farmers using abusive methods at full speed you might be more inclined to take some interest depending on the consequences.
The arrangements that we live every day are not necessarily the only ones possible, these situations are derived conditions. Some of the people who changed society were just making money and not necessarily making society into anything deliberately. In the same way I consider it likely that everybody takes things a little easier physically when we are not feeling efficient with our time and effort even at work. Conditions are not necessarily to be accepted by assumption or obedience.
Life is hard, so is deliberate change. If we don’t choose the arrangements of difficulty we may find ourselves in an abyss of obstacles and complications cluttering up every path to anything good. And once there people will say, “How did it get this way? Or whatever is said, it’s all the same. We have been allowing ourselves to be psychologically, economically, structurally, and socially herded like animals and robots preoccupied with gadgetry and in awe of manmade creations, by people who didn’t do any part of the creating for purposes that have nothing to do with creation or of creating anything desirable.
Choosing a good life style is not as piecemeal as one might assume if it is to be a conscientious life. It is either all or nothing. In relation to ideas and progress for liberty or a good life, often after all our changes we’ve done nothing if we can’t at least retain the good and work through discarding the bad or just old ways. Choosing arrangements for a good society is not piecemeal either. If we are not comprehensive for our times we may have done nothing after a lot of work and time. We could be losing it all without even knowing it.

When we make a couple of good choices they may only be good in context or only if we make more good choices. They may often seem good but life is still just as complex and disappointing or difficult as it ever was. No matter how many changes we make, if they are not fully thought out or if they are partial in purpose or design, they may require too much time and energy to maintain instead of supporting the things that are important to us.
Using someone else’s ideas or methods often requires some training although the training received often ends up being partial or broken up and the users of many ideas and methods, “from others” can be frustrating, redundant and tedious. If you are not familiar with this life experience congratulations but many are very familiar and all of these types of life experiences are unnecessary.
Actually just about all of society involves the use of “the ideas of others” and so any part of living in society may be partial and in a deteriorating condition when society seem stagnant or in decline. And so our society is filled with others teaching the ideas of others, using the ideas of others to do the teaching and understanding what and how to teach and learners wondering how to make it all work somehow. Ideas accumulate to become “larger than the sum of their parts” (25) although they can deteriorate if we forget how to use them.
“From a very early age, we are taught to break apart problems, to fragment the world. This apparently makes complex tasks and subjects more manageable, but we pay a hidden, enormous price. We can no longer see the consequences for our actions; we lose our intrinsic sense of connection to a larger whole. When we then try to ‘see the big picture,’ we try to reassemble fragments in our minds, to list and organize all the pieces. But as physicist David Bohm says, ‘the task is futile – similar to trying to reassemble the fragments of a broken mirror to see a true reflection. Thus, after a while we give up trying to see the whole altogether’." (26)

Every day we get up in the morning we may make attempts at arranging conditions or changes for adjustment to life. We keep life the same all the time too. The changes we make are not necessarily deliberate or in order, and not necessarily what we want or not quite the way we want it, i.e. wrong relevance, or not entirely knowing and targeted relevance. Some of us do better than others; some have a lot better experience with it than others. Each time we make a choice we make some change, however small. As we make these choices/changes, if they are not comprehensive, deliberate, planned etc. we have a hard time keeping traction on what we want to do with them productively and the same conditioning can go on day after day or a lifetime.
Both consciousness and labor have yin and yang. When one side of either topic is lost or forgotten it interferes with both topics and both sides of each topic. It leaves a hole within you that can never be filled. Neither topic can bloom fully in your mind, in your life or in your ways when one fourth of it is lost. The two topics are both basic and have a composition of compliment to one another.
Productive labor is dependent on consciousness; time for contentment of consciousness is dependent on productive labor. Therefore they have an attachment to each other. For most people, except for people who use avoidance of labor in wrong ways or for wrong reasons, both are required to be in good quality before contentment can be achieved. Like the industrial revolution complex convergences must occur to bring about desired conditions. When such conditions exist in labor the yin (which we can name avoidance of labor) and the yang (which can be named the choice to do labor) can be raised to a new level of consciousness. Such is the case with social or collective evolution (27).

Differences in opinions and paradigms occur as do laws and conflicting and betrayal of information from both sides.

The pain of labor:Be Deliberate or Be a Slave
Ignoring the avoidance of labor seems to be a non-subject in the minds of most people. Avoiding labor seems to be thought of as a subject best left un-said. Suddenly I expect you are feeling pretty dry about this material and we are trained to think as such but it must be discussed.
Manipulations of workers would be the most likely cause of letting this tendency of avoiding labor, and thinking about it, to be and stay in the dark. If the higher up in hierarchy have been using it as a condition or tool of manipulation to avoid labor, despite the immense amount of waste and pain that it causes and has caused throughout the centuries, civilization may have a specific avenue to travel in pursuit of betterment for all.
I am not suggesting that management of today is knowingly abusive even when they may seem so. As I suggested in other parts of this material we are born into it and taught how to think about and interpret both management and labor. This twisted form of avoiding labor is a very old construction that
may have likely has origination with full legitimacy of reality and need. Since then we simply got lost with it and it leads and pushes societies around terribly. It is a collective force that has no brain and cannot do anything that humans do not cause it to do and will have no favorable cause until humans give it one. If it is ever given life and love it will blossom into a truth displayed of harmonious affect.
If weaknesses in leadership, hierarchy, division of labor or any related intent is threatening our world it is the same weakness that led civilizations to war for several millennia. It is a weakness somehow related to avoiding labor that workers ignore by tendency of feelings of guilt and accepting myth as if by construction of nature or God. But even if workers are not manipulated by some hierarchy as a part of hierarchy avoiding labor, the problems of industrialized nations are still far more related to labor than anyone seems to believe.
Is it possible that we do such a thing as avoid of labor? I think we may be nurtured to ignore ourselves about labor avoidance. Does it make people feel guilty to avoid labor? If it does then it seems to imply a weakness in our systems and arrangements especially if it is true that avoiding labor is or can be as intelligent as any other intent. Who does this avoidance and under what context and what conditions? Labor avoidance seems to occur in unlimited categories by all or nearly all people.
One might be successful in this effort and make life easier to himself at no expense to anyone; another might be unsuccessful and end up doing more of it consequently. A different person might be abusive with it by getting others to do labor while still not providing any real productivity of his own. Still another unaffected by it of any importance because he has found what he really wants to do with his time. While I try to assume not everybody ignores themselves about it, under today’s conditions, avoidance can mean a lifetime of pain or a lifetime of happiness or a lifetime of abusing and manipulation of others.
We all have multiple issues and details to deal with about living responsibly but the variety of complexity often stops people of even trying. While maintaining an effort to keep up a good life, we allow, what is to some extent an automatic manipulation (29), ongoing regardless of difficulties. It may be the case that nobody can be blamed for automatic manipulations in the sense that everybody is born with the world the way it is.
Each participant in society takes the best place on the game board or arrangement of society that he or she can. Each is confronted with the challenge that there may be some who win and some who lose.
One or several competing economic ideologies may be part of an answer but it also depends on the individual to become active in experimentation. It seems that everything depends on individuals, especially workers, doing some experimenting with making and testing their own ideology, i.e. looking for the use of their own best capability and satisfying their own curiosity. It also depends on the notion that experimenting with ideology would make life easier or better for the experimenter as being the truth.
When one ideology becomes sluggish, a competing one forces it to shape up or be replaced by something more efficient or more ruled (forced).

In the ideology I advocate it seems that an individual worker would be more encouraged to own his activity rather than any location or commodity. In fact it seems that a common sense worker would not have as much desire to own either of the latter two because a worker would become tied to it and stuck when personal or economic change is needed. If ownership of anything gets in the way of efficiency the worker would be more inclined to shake off all attachment to limitation in favor of creativity and open mindedness.
If a worker spends a lot of time doing labor it is usually an arrangement of selling time for pay. Time for pay is conflicting and difficult by its nature and an intelligent worker’s potential is to change this harsh arrangement and any dysfunctions associated with it to an arrangement where intelligence and creativity compliments the work to be done. An example of change is to turn work around so we are doing it by choice instead of by necessity.
I would like to find out if I would be able to get some conversations going about a vast array of topics that I don't know how to separate or they already are separated more than what seems healthy to me and I naturally want to think of them in whole concepts to the extent that each of them are affected by other related topics.
My personal goal is to arrange for an allowance of better consciousness and personal growth using entrepreneur type activities and attitudes, employment and monetary arrangements and to re-develop a life style for more natural tendencies to flourish all with a group of at least 8 people who also want to do the same.
Five basic environments are important, employment, education, spirituality, social and residential but right now work (employment and other work of daily life) is what takes up most of my time. Labor is the work I do so it is my topic of choice most often.
When labor needs to be done as I understand it, at least 3 major categories usually require some time. 1) the thinking, 2) the planning, 3) the action. If I fail to do one of these I fail to be effective or I need supervision. With practice the thinking and planning can be improved.
If I just let the manager do all of the first or the second parts I never develop the social aspect of problem solving and I never can come up with an answer to the question; Does the product I make need to be made in the first place? By giving someone else my responsibilities to do my own thinking I have committed myself to continuous labor of a particular kind until someone else decides the market has seen enough of that product from me or the company I work for.
The arrangements of the monetary and employment systems are failing more than the system itself and therefore are part of the topic of my discussion choices. A basic part of the arrangement is that one works while another manages. This arrangement has levels of hierarchy and activity entirely detached from the work of moving product. An investor, for example, does not necessarily have any ties with the product he is investing in. A worker does not necessarily have any productive option to do any investing in the product he moves. The politician is not necessarily one who has ever moved a product or provided a service productively. Each of these positions has people who are all tied together in an influential knot and each can ignore any responsibilities to the other two and each often does.
The arrangements of our systems are not the system itself. The systems involve more automatic occurrences and come from intent of organization about activity. Arrangements are more deliberate to activity because it can more often involve the intents of fewer cooperating individuals.
To the extent that our systems and arrangements are based on nature or natural intent of each person involved we may be more successful long term. To the extent that they are based on man’s ideas, or intents from a few men, detached from nature, our natural systems for coming together to make life easier and better are in decay and last only as long as the choices of the people are more healthy than detached.
Detachment from nature makes choices and affects hard to interpret and consequently it can make an otherwise good arrangement seem like a bad system.
Until we learn to model our systems and arrangements after nature we won’t be able to interpret how to handle ourselves about change. Systems can be based on nature while the arrangements of men are more often based on the desires of men such as avoiding labor or gaining wealth (which may originate with avoiding labor). Systems in nature are more likely to already exist though we often need to recognize them and convert the process examples into human activity. The most basic concept to copy is the movement of product instead of starting with the complicated topic of hierarchy.
If we start with basic ways of moving product that do not interfere with human frailties any more than necessary we can better understand the basics of how to move forward with the use and creation of technology, ideas, serving needs and happiness. “basic ways” don’t mean using less technology. One of the concepts creating unwanted complexity is the assumption of hierarchy. My intent is not to eliminate it but to minimize it in order clean up what is in my head about it. Another assumption complicating things is of money. We need a little experimenting to find out what context and conditions we need it to be in before we can make an attempt at correcting problems associated with it. Bartering and a Mutual Credit System should help if money really is part of the problem.
“Teachers in schools are teaching subjects instead of teaching students.” (31) Subjects are separated from the student. Teachers are transmitting information but they don’t necessarily teach. What is missing here is the human element of creativity and desire. It is the factor of what the information actually means to the student. If it doesn’t mean anything personal the student can’t put the information into comprehensive action, nor does the student grow from it. Personal growth could have been a nice part of my own education for one. In fact I think I would have lived a very different life if it were. Self-guided education naturally teaches students of subjects in reflection of what the student wants and can do with the information learned.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF CIVILIZATION
If you are a worker you may have available to you a few options that I would like you to consider as study subjects to try to make sure workers are not obstructing the advancement of civilization; Labor, avoidance of labor and ignoring the avoidance of labor. This condition of reference is not limited to labor workers. It seems that all humans are influenced when faced with related options due to human frailties. The study of the influence from all of these subjects is about understanding what is possibly a habit, what the consequences are and who actually gets hurt by it. The name I give this topic is “Ignoring the avoidance of labor.”
Of this particular topic I want to advance 5 sub-topics as prep study for discussion and getting familiar with this more detailed topic and what effect it may be having on mankind:
Division of labor has many effects, all good, except to the extent that the people participating in the division are not paying attention to the influence and opportunities from it to their own experience and lives. Feelings are important. In effect we can’t just let ourselves fall into a manmade condition or arrangement over a very long period of time and take no responsibility for what the results end up to be. If we do then we are surely to have a very poor experience entirely. We pay for every consequence we neglect. So then let’s try to list as many effects that this activity has on us as well as on society:
The Current Form of Division of labor has:
Ө Allowed us to ignore our own problems if we want to (after a choice of ignoring we still have a location of residence and food)
Ө Resulted in lessons worth learning about mankind and nature
Ө Given us more free time
Ө Provided the potential for the most exciting and wonderful time in civilization history
Ө Showed us new extents to which our efforts and time can drive discovery
Ө Divided our lives and ourselves from each other and our own nature
Ө Taken us away from some of the havoc of natural change
Ө Made life easier for most people who participate in it
Ө Provided new types of change that we must learn to use to our advantage
Ө Made life easier potentially for everyone
Ө Made our time more efficient
Ө Created new versatility for mankind
Ө Created change that caused confusion
Ө Given us plenty of pains
Does anything need to be added or removed from this list? Is it a monotonous list to read?
In a short statement we are obstructing the advancement of civilization if we are not taking our best and easiest path to survival and happiness. When we fail to do this we allow others to take charge of the things that we could and would take charge of ourselves if we understood the real benefits behind ownership of this responsibility. But a short statement doesn’t cover the details of what needs to be known. It seems the statement can’t be any shorter than a book.
MAKING THE DIFFICULT MENTAL LEAP
Some of the concepts of how to survive the workplace are like a one size fits all approach to employment and don’t really fit the needs of society anymore. Some of these survival techniques may have been handed down from other types of work arrangements but regardless of where they came from they don’t always fit the workplace. The factories are (or were before they left the country) set up to move and improve product. Other needs, such as worker needs, should be (and should have been) worked out separately by the workers themselves.
Management and lawmakers have dealt with the physical needs of the workers but the workers still need to deal with their own psychological and educational needs. The needs of physical labor workers are different than other workers because we do not always perform well with the methods of more self-disciplined workers who are better equipped to make resources work as they are meant to.
The difficulty in making the mental leap from a life of following and obedience to the systems and arrangements of others to a life of self-guidance, experimentation and wholesome enjoyment, for labor employees, is that we are dependent on an employer and attached to a paycheck and job. When the need arises that shows we must change our conditions or improve our arrangements to support better results for living a good and responsible life we often find ourselves stuck with those arrangements just as they are even when we know change is needed for the good of everybody.
The incredible power of making this mental leap can come from choosing the option that each individual has of doing whatever it takes to learn, understand and use truth and the best information available, mostly found on the internet and in multiple activist groups. It is not so difficult really; it starts with a matter of knowing what the leap consist of.
No activist group, it seems, is as fully comprehensive as we can be about how to go about gathering and using information. An example of a more full investigation of this effort is with the protection of liberty. The protection of liberty involves political studies as half of a campaign effort, the other half has to come from what we spend most of our time and life in, meaning work. This involves the study of economics, not necessarily all college information but more to the point is personal activity and choice making. The second half of the study and protection of liberty is being active in the economics that we are not told about and never see in most media. Still, this campaign as it exists, from what I have seen, is entirely political and so we are threatened by our own choices of doing the same thing that generations past have all done, that is excessively look to hierarchy for answers.
The study of economics for the protection of Liberty is very different than college economics because college econ. fails to support any comprehensive concept of competition to existing theory even when the theory in use is slipping through incredibly massive failure of management in multiple areas, including monetary management and personal psychological health. An example of comprehensive study would include experimenting with economics, moving product, theory for workers, individual and collective consciousness, self-guided education and group study or discussion. Any effort that is not fully comprehensive offers an inlet to corruption of the protection of liberty and liberty itself becomes fleeting/temporary and so an experience with liberty rather than real liberty.
What the liberty groups always seem to neglect is the experimentation part of study; therefore we will eventually be faced with the choice of lesser evils when both are the wrong choice.
Let’s cut through the rest of the book that needs to be written by the group that doesn’t seem to exist yet. What is needed is for workers to learn how to work according to their hearts desire. Therefore the workers own nature is first guide.
Next I would like to put this activity/intent into a list of considerations. As workers, in order to be effective in our efforts to maintain a good and productive life the way we want, most of us may need to:
Sound complex or daunting? For one or two or even a group to figure out how to do it all is daunting but that is not what happens in reality. Instead it accumulates over time to recreate the lifestyle that we live. This already happens over and over again as time goes on throughout changing times. The trick is to do it deliberately without interfering with the paths of others and by following the doctor’s motto, “Do no harm” as well as we can. As well as we can is all that is needed, time provides the rest. The “difficulty” in the difficult mental leap is a has-been and has now become the grandiose of adventures. It is now easier and more practical to challenge all of our problems all at once than it is to live with them for any length of time beyond a few months.
The Root of half our Evils
Collectively ignoring ourselves about the avoidance of labor is the root of too much evil and is an example of real source. Over a long period of time the effects of this habit and lack of awareness of it have been accumulating and influencing every part of society although a hazardous change occurred with the industrial revolution. A new relationship is experienced in hidden destructive forces from meaningless and detached employment for pay.
Factor in that schools train for obedience and that people generally don’t want to work under conditions of obedience to other men who hold income based positions at any cost and you have the recipe for natural and manmade disaster in repetition cycles of combustion.
The work of an entrepreneur, as I understand their work, is based on activities attributed to mental processes. Whatever physical, mental, or social work they do starts with something in the mind. Most other workers do just the opposite. Common physical labor workers base their work on instructions about physical processes. Any work they do for pay starts with what physical activity needs to be performed to maintain success of someone else’s mental processes or projects.
It doesn’t matter what economic system is being used in America. If something basic is wrong with how we perform the basic functions of living and working things are eventually going to become miserable anyway. I often hear talk about which system is better, communism, or capitalism etc. after the first few hundred years it all degrades if we are basically dysfunctional for non-related reasons. Our existing reasons don’t seem particularly related to religion, although religion is used for manipulation, government, although government may be more dysfunctional than the rest of us at times.
The answer to what to do about the root of all evil is turn our concepts about work around so that our work is based on mental process instead of physical process. The common question of what work to do and how to do it starts in our minds instead of our willingness to lend our muscle or time out to any friend or foe whom will pay us for it.
Often we hear that greed or power is a cause for something terrible but excessive use of such things is only a symptom. Real cause is more often something that can be found within you though possible hidden. The indications of some inner flaw are numerous. We let ourselves be led around the financial, economic and social world like fools though we can, at any time, overcome such conditioning by embracing those concepts take away our power to self-manage.

MAKING A WORKPLACE
These concepts are assembled on multiple controls in favor of the most extensive versatility arrangement I believe we can create. This arrangement will help stimulate us for generating new ideas when needed and getting to the root of and solving problems on a more common basis. Also by workers learning to use problem solving techniques we will be able to use some of these techniques to solve personal problems at home though many personal problems will just go away.
The legitimate purpose of this consideration beyond convenience is to search for problem solving technique in every area of our lives and community. Additionally by improving our employment behavior and maybe the results of our work we are loosening up the complications of mental restrictions that keep us from personal and economic success.
At first glance some of these concepts may appear to be or make life more complex and difficult but more likely it will make life simpler and easier to understand. If we are modeling our life and employment after the nature of our desires, responsibilities and capabilities the tasks from day to day will be easier to interpret and improve while having more flexibility with our choices.
When our lives are particulate or separated into parts such as work for a paycheck, entertainment and leisure when we are off work, education off in the distance and religion and spirituality at a special physical place, all mastered and designed by others, we allow our time and minds to be molded in ways that we may not be aware. So much of our time is spent maintaining complicated arrangements created by others that we cannot easily change our path as much or in the way that is needed and the result is that we are easier to manipulate and control by abusive and wasteful mechanisms or people.
Part of what we would be doing in an effort to create more deliberate employment conditions is bringing back a simplicity that comes from doing more of the functions involved with moving a product because by doing more functions we are more connected to our community and the nature of being human. We are social creatures needing to be face to face with people and making a purposeful contact. We are also intelligent creatures in complexity, namely society, and needing to be face to face with solving the causes of our problems and improving the conditions in which we live. While it may seem more complicated it is actually closer to a natural state of doing work that probably existed before abusive and detached hierarchies.
As much as we are able to be consistent, cooperative and efficient the results are likely to be good. As much as we cannot produce efficient results we may be producing a tradeoff from other employment options making life more difficult. Therefore compromising is an important part of working in groups. In my opinion we still need to have a thorough discussion on these matters.
A list of activities that I think we may perform in the workplace after we have experience as workers may help in this presentation.
Learning, working, experimenting, theorizing, investing, thinking, socializing, training, verifying information, discussion with peers to clarify and understand ideas and intentions, asking questions, internet search, investigating, and breaking down the activities of what an entrepreneur might perform in a regular work day into do-able-size pieces so the average worker can perform them productively. These skills are complex to develop and so some training is needed.
Labor trains activity related to work in a manner of speaking. Work guides, pushes and drags our motivations and responses to the point of torment and misery, accomplishment and triumph depending on our choices. In the same manor the pains from tedious work trains us about work.
Pain from repetitive conditions place guide posts on our understanding of how to do work, what we are willing to do for it, and what values we place on having the opportunity to do it or having done it. This conditioning puts the design of the workplace and the structure and arrangement of compensation on a very high importance to the work that is to be done.
THE MAKING OF A WORKER
The worker must create a good fit with work and his psychological perseverance to do it. The psychological perseverance required to do work for pay is or can be a tumultuous fumbling that gradually places limitation on the mind and cooperation and interference of every part of living.
Over time and generations the technical advances of civilization and a weakness in hierarchy (33) involving men retaining positions of influence or control, some of the traits that make up a man has been washed out of common men.
A weakness in management exists because both workers and citizens excessively look to management for answers about nearly every important problem pushing management beyond their legitimate function. Part of the legitimate function of management is to do the best that they can with their work, nothing more.
Mediocre solutions are occasionally accepted and used and over generations some of the original problems and solution story is lost. The failure on the part of the worker is to take the easy way out instead of searching out more complete solutions to original problems or continue building upon solutions used. Concepts like this are only useful if the continued pursuit would make life or work easier or better for those in pursuit. The failure then is to quit the pursuit when improvements to methods or activities are possible and can be found.
The experience of work is sacrificed at great loss to civilization and advancement. If workers are not aware of the re-growth of making the connections to other people and nature the worker has quite a struggle through life to understand any relevance to his work and life itself. Consequently re-education is needed although not necessarily sought especially at a young age.
As workers grow older an intention to rearrange these limitations may come increasingly clear, as will the difficulty in making deliberate personal change while retaining employment. Personal adjustments when done consciously and deliberately is often a complex struggle, a challenge that tests the individual’s resolve, strength and character to his ability to stick to his decision and be firm on the determination and effort to change.
A driving force behind interference of making these personal changes comes from our particular type of industrialization. We don’t have to make any of these changes about ourselves if we don’t want to. We still have a roof over our heads and plenty of food; we can spend our time with what seems like more pleasant things that are really just ready-made enjoyment traps. When it comes time to go back to work, if the employee doesn’t love the job, the employer gets a second-best intent, the society gets a mundane resident and the family just gets to do without something very important somehow. I don’t think the employers have any way to challenge this condition; it is outside the concept of current business arrangements.
Now after many years of neglect we are taught to minimize, nurture, retain and sustain these manipulations and corruptions within us and our lives. This combination is confusing enough that it fools us into thinking we have our own thoughts. Often cooperating with this corruption is against our own nature but still we have and hold them within our own minds and ways. Therefor we should not blame any living being for them. They are part of us just like our true and sincere effort to live a good life and let others do the same.
One of the many virtues of working with basic concepts is it keeps your potential in current readiness. One of the problems of working with abstract concepts is it closes our minds to so many other maybe wonderful options. Today America works with too many abstract concepts and people are lost with how to spend their time, consequently loosing whole relationships with basic subjects.
Nobody has figured out how to give to the collective need of society, on a sustainable basis, while making a living unless they are using their creative and conscious abilities. We can contribute our time and effort without direct pay on a voluntary basis but when in competition, that energy for the contribution tends to be directed to the greatest monetary results. In fact the only way to generate true contribution to benefit every person and institution touched by a person’s work is to use all the capabilities the worker has.
Ownership of activity seems to tie into this potential but it seems to require that the worker create the ownership and generate the activity, much like a chick breaking out of its egg shell, the worker must build strength around the relationships of society if he is to do an ordinary days work comprehensively. Instead we do jobs. A job is the easy way to get money despite what it may seem to be, that is why we do them. Developing a more full activity for work means to obtain more ownership although no necessarily of physical property.
The case seems to be that we do not do an ordinary day of work because there is no such thing unless the worker is an entrepreneur. What is normal for us right now is to recreate the workplace and the society that is bound around it despite being taught, trained, pushed and manipulated otherwise.

We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. We might get away with it for a while but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces.” (34)
“During the last century credentialism became a form of knowledge licensing a restricted path dictated by those already holding the necessary documents who fitted others into the assembly line of indoctrination.” (35)
The role of the mini-entrepreneur: Redefine the activities of his own experience and expertise as needed to acquire the best options for his employments.
The role of the mini-entrepreneur guide (the common worker in a study group arrangement): Provide the information about feelings and opinion in order that the mini-entrepreneur or the group can collectively redefine the activities of the average worker to be in good health in the workplace so that the workplace compliments other areas of living. A guide is an average worker who is interested in perfecting the workplace as much as possible to compliment conscious living between workers and the rest of society.
If workers don’t master their own experience with division of labor, somebody else will. The manipulators of civilization will of course take that role as a needed guidance counselor. The new masteries of division of labor that generated the industrial revolution also created a vast array of flexible and versatile set of choices and leniency conditions to the potential benefit of everybody.
Since the industrial and technical revolution it is not clear that we need, hierarchy, government, money, “positions”, or instruction based religion as they are currently arranged. Until we add a reasonable amount of detail about how and why we need these things and in what context and quantity we would do just as well for ourselves to shake off restrictions from them in favor of more flexibility to the development of arrangements and concepts that actually work more the way they are meant to.
