Tell us your Conscious Calling?
To be an advocate for our spiritual awakening and awareness about the power we have to change the present conditions we are living. To provide a spiritual and personal development platform to support women and adults who in turn, can and will empower youth today.
What is your secret to healthy living?
My faith and belief in God as the creator of the world, the source of our existence and power behind our possibilities for manifesting greatness in life.
What would you like to say?
With awareness comes responsibility and, more than ever, we as women must recognize we have the power, through self-love and the realization of our innate-God-given possibilities, to change the course of our lives and of those we bring to this world. Today, youth are the victims of our decisions. They are the consequence of our judgements and choices. Where we are, what we believe, and what we do and not do, will impact their present and future possibilities.
About Me:
I am the owner of Live and Learn Enterprises LLC, and the founder of Rise 2Win 4 OUR YOUth Movement which is a platform and strategy to raise awareness, create advocacy and empower at-risk youth with personal development skills, education and resources they need for 21st-Century Leadership.

I am passionate about empowering the adults who support youth by making personal development education accessible via seminar trainings, using technology, the internet and digital media, in addition to direct immersion via joint venture partnership teletraining school.

I am a mother of an eight-year-old who is my inspiration and the catalyst to help me grow and become a better person, woman, mother and protector of his well-being, both for today and tomorrow.

The Power of WOMANHOOD Today

Posted on August 6, 2009 at 2:32pm 0 Comments

How is "womanhood" defined in our present times?

How does marketing see womanhood? What are the characteristics and signs of womanhood being observed? How is womanhood rated and validated? What are the standards of judgement defining womanhood?

Consider how the world, the country, families, the men in our lives, and us ourselves, define womanhood?

These questions lead to many interpretive answers and considerations reliant on individual and public opinion and… Continue

Have you ever asked yourself "why me?"

Do you stay with the question in your mind about why something is happening to you and why you were chosen to live out that particular experience and circumstance?

Do you ever use perception as your weapon of choice to battle the demons when hope seems lost and sadness reigns?

I determined a long time ago that everything that happened in my life was a gift that would always serve a higher purpose. I now recognize it is… Continue

Our Children; Our Life

Posted on September 22, 2008 at 9:00am 0 Comments

Just this weekend, one four-year old child was shot to death by her father in a domestic dispute, one five-year old child was recovered dead, six children were taken by Child Services Council after being uncovered in a child pornography stint taking place in a religious establishment whose owner was a convicted racketeer. This all came to my awareness not while I was intentionally seeking this type of news. It came while I was changing the tv channel Friday night, changing NPR radio news… Continue

Sandra... I love what you are doing! I hope one day to be able to speak to our youth and guide and mentor them. I will help you in any way I can. Had a very interesting conversation with a court reporter at a friends dinner party last night. Here in El Paso, TX, being one of the largest border communities, we have a big problem with drugs, juveniles etc..The juvenile probation department is a recognized model court and Bob (court reporter) was telling me that they have really put into place, systems to rehabilitate the youth that get into trouble. Whatever I can do to help you and our youth, just ask and remember to add me to your friend list. Adios!
