Obscured by the Clouds

Notes to Myself

The past few months have been an intense time of integration and finishing up old stuff. So many new things are coming in as the old is departing. I see this time we are in as a warm, sunny day. A day when we are just relaxing outside in the fresh air. Suddenly a big cloud comes along and shields the sun from our view. It’s not so bad since it brings a gentle breeze. No sign of a big storm is imminent, were still enjoying what we have, however, we long for the warmth… Continue

Without the Sun their is no Life

Without the sun there is no life. We notice very clearly what a revitalizing effect sunlight has on our body and spirits when, after a long winter, we enjoy the first rays of spring sun. But did you realize that we also absorb sun energy via our food as well.

We now know through quantum physics that our bodies, below the level of the atom are pure energy: we replenish our physical energy with sunlight.

The latest research of Prof. F.A. Popp… Continue

Relationship Advice: Handling conflicts in your relationship

Another media inquiry regarding handling conflicts:

I’m not a yeller. I never have been. When my sister and I had knock-down fights as kids, she screamed and I talked or cried (or both). Actually, that’s how our fights play out these days. I also never yelled when arguing with my parents, and the one and only time I got in a bit of a “tiff” with a colleague, she yelled and I, well, spoke. I’m the same way with dates. Recently, I had… Continue

7 Thoughts about Conscious Kid Communication

It has been interesting over the years as a parent and others suggestions to write a book about my parenting experience and skills.

I attended a workshop, visited with parents and those experiences have motivated me to write a blog about “conscious communication” with our children. The workshop reminded me how words, even when kidding, can be challenges for adults many years later. Don’t "KID" around with words. For starters, let's explore the power of language, words and… Continue

The Sun

The Sun Is Always Shining Remember the Sun

There are times when gloom or darkness causes us to momentarily lose sight of the light. Although it is at these times when the thought of the sun can help us. Its warm, glowing rays brighten even our thoughts, and it’s good to remember that despite appearances the sun is shining right now. We may not be able to see it at this very moment, but if clouds block our view, they are only filtering the sun’s… Continue

One day a while back, a man, his heart heavy with grief, was walking

in the woods. As he thought about his life this day, he knew many

things were not right. He thought about those who had lied about him

back when he had a job.

His thoughts turned to those who had stolen his things and cheated

him. He remembered family that had passed on. His mind turned to

the illness he had, that no one could cure. His very soul was filled

with… Continue

I Went Out of My Way

One of my favorite movies ever is called “Stranger than Fiction.” It is a somewhat odd movie about a character named Harold Crick who hears a narrator’s voice, commenting on his life. There are so many messages and teaching in this movie that I consider it one of the most entertaining and inspirational ones I have ever seen.

One of the phrases used in the movie is “Little did I know. . . .” Dustin Hoffman’s character uses this small phrase as a launching pad for. . . . well. . .… Continue

Rejuvenis OSH ionic Silver in today’s dangerous world is the most important substance you can put into your body; Swine Flu-H1N1, no more signs after taking Rejuvenis OSH silver.

Death and Living Part I

As I sit here contemplating the subject I have decided to cover, wonder whether I really know what I am getting into. Most people won’t even talk about politics or religion, two of my favorite subjects. I am about to summarize my understanding of life and death, or death and living. This is no small task, but that is what makes it important. That and the idea that death has probably been the subject of more lies, stories, misguided fabrications and misunderstanding than any other in the history… Continue

Using Your Power

August 21, 2009

Using Your Power

Our lives are defined by the decisions we make each day. When we choose one option over another, whether we are selecting a restaurant or considering a cross-country move, we shape our lives. The decision-making process can be empowering, allowing us to enjoy the benefits of self-determination. Yet it can also be a source of anxiety because decisions force us to face the possibility of dissatisfaction and inner conflict. As a… Continue
