Is bending weakness or strength ?

"A man is born gentle and weak.

At his death he is hard and stiff.

Green plants are tender and filled with sap.

At their death they are withered and dry.

Therefore the stiff and unbending is the way of death.

The gentle and yielding is the way of life.

A tree that is unbending is easily broken.

The hard and strong will fall.

The soft and weak will overcome".

........Quote: Lao Tzu, the Tao Te Ching.

Opinions of others or self;

Which matters more to you ?

Self or Wealth; Which is more precious ?

"He who is attached to things will suffer much.

He who holds on will experience heavy losses.

A contented person is never disappointed.

He who knows when to stop will stay forever safe".

In this verse of the Tao Te Ching; the 2,500 year old book of oriental wisdom you are being asked to consider how you look at life.

`And the Word was made flesh....'

WORD OF GOD

... through Bertha Dudde - 1.4.1962

`And the Word was made flesh....'

`And the Word was made flesh and lived among us....' I Myself, the eternal Word, came to earth and became flesh.... It was an act of overwhelming love and mercy that had moved Me to make contact with the human beings who had distanced themselves from Me to a point that they were no longer able to hear My voice, that they could no longer hear My Word within themselves,… Continue

The Grace of Acceptance

The Grace of Acceptance

Notes to Myself

No matter where we are on the path to enlightenment it warrants a pause of rest and reflection. We have traveled far and gained so much knowledge and wisdom. Can we give ourselves credit for all the inner work we've done? Not only inner work, we've had to do a lot on the physical level as well, during this year of renegotiating the terms of our lives. Now is a time to just allow all of the energies around us to settle down and… Continue

You are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change

In a dish someplace ...

You are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ...

You are… Continue

Chana’s Life Story

I was born on September 15, 1963 in the Bronx, New York. I lived with my divorced mother and brother in the Bronx until age 11, then we moved to Forest Hills, NY. I went from a Jewish neighborhood in the Bronx to another kind of community of wealthier Jews in Queens. We lived on 72nd Road off 110th Street and across from the Kennedy House building. I went to Halsey Jr. High School in 1975 – 1978. I had to learn to live in another environment and new neighborhood after knowing my original… Continue

The Reciprocal Flow of Abundance

Giving Without Expectations

Since giving and receiving are so intimately intertwined in our lives, we often expect that we can attract abundance by simply conducting ourselves in an openhanded fashion. Yet we find ourselves wallowing in disappointment when our ample generosity is not met with the expected results. The answer to this quandary lies in the expectations that, in part, initially prompted us to give. Though our… Continue

There are people who can walk away from you.

And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk.. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The bible said that, they came out from us… Continue

Eleven Steps to Self Awareness.

Self-awareness: Beyond the “bottom line”

The integration of self-understanding and love of others is a powerful interface. It is a required journey for every human being regardless of occupation, economic status or belief system. Practicing self awareness, leads to consciousness, the proper awareness outside of one’s true self. This dynamic practice empowers it’s practitioners to fully embrace joy and purpose beyond task and obligation. It mitigates painful… Continue

Letting go of the Illusion of control requires self-observation.

Letting go of the Illusion of control requires self-observation.

The source for all anger is our inability to control something or someone. Though we can influence the outcome of an event or the actions of another, very rarely can we ever control either. The idea of letting go of control might challenge one’s ego at first, as it’s very nature is self centered and needs it’s power from others.

Today I pose a… Continue
